All Cruise Auction provides an Auction Service
The All Cruise Auction web site acts as a venue for sellers to sell cruises to the highest bidder and for bidders to bid on sellers' items. All Cruise Auction is not involved in the transactions between buyers and sellers. We do not guarantee the sellers' items or the accuracy of their listings and it is understood that members will indemnify and hold All Cruise Auction harmless for any claims, demands, or damages resulting from transactions between bidders (buyers) and sellers. We reserve the right to suspend the participation of any member who violates our Auction Rules or these Terms and Conditions.
Bids
Only registered users may bid on items presented in the auction. All items presented are the sole responsibility of the seller. All Cruise Auction is merely the listing service, and does not hold nor is responsible for any travel products presented in the auction listings. Bids may not be manipulated in any way. Sellers are not allowed to bid on their own items, and shill bidding (the deliberate use of aliases, friends, family members, or associates to drive up the bid price of an item) is strictly prohibited. All Cruise Auction may immediately cancel bids which are deemed to be manipulative and suspend an offending bidder or seller's account. Bid only on items that you are willing to purchase.
Bidding
As a bidder, if you have the highest bid at the end of the auction, at or above the minimum bid price the seller is obligated to sell you the cruise; you are obligated to complete the transaction. Bids are not retractable. Winning bidders will be notified of the total purchase cost by e-mail within 24 hours of the closing of the auction. Payment is due with the close of the cruise auction, and will be applied to your credit card by the winning travel agency. Any payment not postmarked or authorized for credit card payment by that time may cause the item to be entered in the next auction. You must be at least 21 years old to bid, also some cruise line have a minimum age requirement to sail. We require a credit card to help ensure that bidders are of a legal age. and are serious about purchasing a cruise.

All Cruise Auction's primary motivation for taking this step is to gather verifiable identifying information about users with no prior bidding activity on All Cruise Auction. We believe that fraudulent auction activity not only victimizes All Cruise Auction community members, but it also undermines the trust and goodwill on which the success of the All Cruise Auction community has been built. This credit card requirement is a positive step towards enhancing the overall All Cruise Auction experience.

Reverse Auction
Is where a consumer is looking for a specific cruise line, cruise ship, sailing date, and category (cabin). They will post the cruise in the reverse auction with the maximum price that they are willing to pay for the stateroom. This is the only area where prices are NOT per person. You will never pay more then the maximum stated price in your request. Travel agencies will then place bids on the cruise starting with the maximum bid and subsequent bids will be lower. If you receive one or more bids at or below your stated maximum price, you are obligated to purchase the cruise. Once the reverse cruise auction ends the consumers credit card will be charged by the winning agency. In a reverse auction the buyer is the one who lists the cruise and the travel agency is the bidder.

Selling
Only authorized travel agency's that are registered with the cruise lines and Cruise Line International Association (C.L.I.A.) will be able to post cruises for bidding or to bid on a Reverse Auction, for your safety.

We will require a credit card authorization to be on file before any sellers will be approved to place cruises or cruise tours up for auction or to bid in the Reverse Auction area.

Why does All Cruise Auction require a credit card in order to bid or sell?

To make sure that we provide the safest environment for the All Cruise Auction bidders and sellers.

We require a credit card to help ensure that Sellers are of a legal age. Sellers are serious about purchasing / listing an item on All Cruise Auction. You are further protected from irresponsible or fraudulent sellers.

This may seem like an extreme measure, but there are really good reasons for asking for this information. For example, a single fraudulent seller can ruin the experience of one of your potential buyers - and taint there reputation for the majority of honest sellers. We realize that not all people have credit cards. Therefore, we are quickly working on a solution that will allow new sellers to participate without placing a credit card on file.

All Cruise Auction's primary motivation for taking this step is to gather verifiable identifying information about users with no prior selling activity on All Cruise Auction. We believe that fraudulent auction activity not only victimizes All Cruise Auction community members, but it also undermines the trust and goodwill on which the success of the All Cruise Auction community has been built. This credit card requirement is a positive step towards enhancing the overall All Cruise Auction experience.

All Cruise Auction will only allow cruises and cruise tours from all cruise lines and only cruise lines that are C.L.I.A. approved. Any other items placed for auction will be removed immediately with no refund of fees paid and the seller will be notified if this happens a second time there selling privileges will be suspended. If you are not sure about an item email All Cruise Auction with a description of the item. All cruises listed as a regular auction will be priced as a per person based on double occupancy including all port charges and gov't fees and taxes. Listings must describe the item that you are listing and may include a photo of the listed item by providing a link to the item's image. Listings are to be placed in the appropriate category.

If you receive one or more bids at or above your stated minimum price, you are obligated to pay a seller's fee to All Cruise Auction and to complete the transaction with the highest bidder. You may not email bidders in a currently open auction being run by a different seller, offering similar or the same items at any price level (bid siphoning), nor may you use an alias to place bids on your auction for any reason.

When the auction ends, the seller and high-bidder(s) are notified by mail. Auction results are also available for anyone to examine for a period of time. The high bidder and seller should contact each other within 3 business days of the end of the auction. If the high bidder fails to respond to the seller within 3 business days, the seller may contact the next highest bidder, and the high bidder may lose their winning place as the winning bidder.

The winning bidder pays you directly for the item, and it's your responsibility to fulfill the order once payment terms are met. The binding contract of the auction is between the winning bidder and the seller. Bidders expect you to be truthful about your listing. You should be clear in your description, include any additional costs the winning bidder may incur (such as sales ax or shipping charges) and include a photo whenever possible so the bidder may get a clear view of what they are bidding on.

Remember, an All Cruise Auction auction is a legal commitment to sell your item to the highest bidder. If you receive one or more bids above your minimum price, you are legally obligated to complete the transaction. A failure to do so is a breach of the User Agreement and may be legally actionable by one or more of the bidders.

You may auction any merchandise you have the right to sell, as long as it complies with the User Agreement and is not on the prohibited list. Wholesaling is not allowed. Please list your item(s) in the appropriate category.

Ending Value Fees

At the end of an auction, you will be charged a Ending Value Fee based on the final sale price (ending value) of your item:
Regular and Reserve Auctions (when the reserve has been met) The ending value is the closing bid. Remember, there is no Ending Value Fee charged if the reserve is not met.
Then here's how you calculate your Ending Value Fee
      1. Take the first $500 of your Ending Value, and calculate 1 % of that. If your item sold for $500 or less, this is your Ending Value Fee.
      2. If your Ending Value was more than $501, take the additional amount, from $501 to $1,000, and calculate 1 % of that.
      3. If your Ending Value was more than $1,000, take that additional amount and calculate 1 % of the remaining amount.
      4. Add these amounts together and you have your Ending Value Fee!
You will not be charged an Ending Value Fee if:
There were no bids on your item
If there were no bids that met your reserve price for your Reserve Price Auction
But you will be charged a Ending Value Fee:
Whether or not you consummate the sale with the buyer.
Reverse Auction Fees.
You will be charged a flat 2 % of the winning bid. This is the lowest bid.
Tips for Sellers
Ready to get the most out of your All Cruise Auction selling experience?
Check out the suggestions we've provided.
Give a Complete Description
To avoid questions later, try to anticipate questions people may have about the item. Be sure to specify who will pay for shipping. Don't forget to mention the location of the item and whether you'll ship internationally.
Add a Picture
You can boost sales by showing off your item with an image or photograph.
Provide Terms For Sale
All cruises listed as a regular auction will be priced as a per person based on double occupancy including all port charges and gov't fees and taxes. You will also need to mention how much payment is needed to finalize the sale. If the cruise is in the future you might want to make the payment in two installments. Example a cruise that is 6 months away you might want 50% of the cruise fare at the end of the auction and the balance 100 days prior to sailing.
To make sure you get paid for the items you sell, include the payment method and shipping terms in your listing. Accepting more secure forms of payment (such as credit cards) gives you more ability to verify the buyer. You may want to insure the item before shipping.
Keep Your Auction Going
Many All Cruise Auction bidders wait until the very last minute to place a bid. That means you may be missing out on additional bids if you end your auction early.Reminder the West Coast is 3 hours different then the East Coast.
Be Courteous To Bidders
Remember that this is a potential buyer and you want the sale! Take the time to write in complete sentences, with a salutation and a closing when you send an email.
Talk Person to Person
If you feel uncomfortable about your deal, sometimes a quick phone call is a great way to resolve misunderstandings. Remember that many people don't read their email every day. A call may also be the quickest way to reach your buyer.
Breach
All Cruise Auction may immediately issue a warning or terminate your membership, any of your current auctions, any of your current bids, or any other information you place on the site if you breach these Terms and Conditions or our Auction Rules or if we are unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide to us. All Cruise Auction may also suspend or terminate your membership and account if you are found to have engaged in any fraudulent or unlawful activity in connection with our site.
Frequently Asked Questions on new seller requirements: Q. What types of credit cards do you accept?

A We accept Amex, Visa, Master Card and Discover credit cards, and debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo.

Q. How do I place my credit card on file with All Cruise Auction so I can sell?

A. You will fill out a seller's registration form and fax it to All Cruise Auction

Q. Will my credit card be charged each month?

A. We will create a seller's account and your credit card will be charged monthly for the previous month's activity. The amount charged to your card is based on your invoice amount, which is calculated at the end of each month. Any negative balance at the time of invoicing will result in a charge to your credit card. However, you can avoid a charge to your credit card by pre-paying your All Cruise Auction account by check or money order. Pre-payments should be received by the 20th of each month. This allows adequate time to post payment to your account prior to month end invoicing. As long as the amount you pre-pay is equal to or greater than your invoice amount, your credit card will not be charged. If the pre-payment amount is less than the invoiced amount, your credit card will be charged for the remaining amount.

Q. If I don't have a credit card, is there another way that will allow me to sell on All Cruise Auction?

A. Debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo will work as well. Otherwise all new sellers will need to place a credit card on file with All Cruise Auction to sell an item. We are currently working on another form of verification which will not require you to place your credit card on file, but will verify your personal information. We'll make an announcement when that other form is available.

Q. What happens if I change my email address or User ID?

A. The credit card information you placed on file will continue to work with your new email address or User ID. You will be able to change your email address or User ID without having to re-submit your credit cardinformation.
